Running & Ultrarunning Coach
Personalized Training for Runners Who Want to Keep Running
Whether you are preparing for your first race, returning after an injury, or training for an ultramarathon, successful running requires more than simply increasing mileage.
At Balance by Brooks, our running coaching focuses on individualized training, consistency, strength, recovery, and long-term athletic development.
Michele Brooks is a UESCA-certified ultrarunning coach, doctorate-prepared nurse, and experienced endurance athlete with additional training in endurance nutrition, personal training, and corrective exercise.
Our coaching approach recognizes that every runner brings a different training history, schedule, injury background, and set of goals.
For masters runners, training should also consider changing recovery demands, strength, tendon capacity, and the importance of maintaining speed and power with age.
Coaching may include individualized running schedules, strength and plyometric recommendations, nutrition education, regular communication, and training adjustments based on progress and recovery.
We work with runners preparing for road races, trail races, ultramarathons, and personal endurance goals.
Our goal is to help you train consistently, make informed decisions, and build the capacity to continue running for years to come.
